Dave Bontempo, Managing Partner
David M. Bontempo, CPC, founded The Bontempo Group in 2000, after a tenure at Dun and Bradstreet and Dunhill Staffing.
Dave is a Certified Personnel Consultant, (CPC) who has successfully managed the completion of over 2900 searches for companies of all sizes and in many industries over the past thirty-five plus years. While concentrating in the Mid-Atlantic area, The Bontempo Group has completed searches throughout the US, Canada and South America. Additional clients retaining the services of The Bontempo Group are based in Germany, Italy, Holland and England.
Dave frequently speaks about and consults with clients concerning the latest trends impacting the job market, including talent attraction, talent retention, on-boarding processes, the emerging virtual and remote workplaces and the combination of baby boomers (72 million) plus the generations X and Y entering the work force. Dave's expertise and longevity in the staffing industry have afforded him the opportunity to consult with corporate leaders and has made him a sought-after speaker on college campuses.
A member of the National Association of Personnel Services, and the NPA Worldwide Recruiting Network, Dave is a past Advisory Board Member of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Personnel Consultants (MAAPC). A graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School ('75), Dave is Co-Executive Director of In Vite Mane, an alumni organization representing 35,000 plus graduates of Archbishop Ryan. Additionally, he is a Man of Malvern, serving on the Speakers Bureau, and an Advisory Board Member of the Sisters of St. Joseph Welcome Center in Philadelphia. Dave attended Bucks County Community College and LaSalle University and presently serves as the head men's soccer coach at Gwynedd Mercy University. He resides in Bucks County, PA with his wife, Mary Fran.
